Re: silence?

I predicted on other lists (and in a published essay) that Yugoslavia
would be weakened and that this war would enhance the shrinking of
Yugoslavia, which is what I see as one of the main goals of the NATO
effort. Serbians are fleeing Kosovo. Albanians are pouring back in (many
more never left), as are NATO forces. Experts are saying it will take at
least 15 years for Yugoslavia to restore its productive forces to pre-war
levels. It seems highly likely that Kosovo will become an Albanian
province. I believed from the beginning that the NATO bombing would
"succeed."
