It seems to me that it's precisely Ashrawi that you should be applauding.

She is continuing to support a two-state solution, and wishes to avoid
large-scale bloodshed.  Isn't that what you want as well?

Why is she the focus of your concern?

Because she bears bad news about Arab opinion?  Based on what I've heard
about protests in Egypt, Jordan and elsewhere, do you doubt her?
