Marx sent Darwin a copy of Capital (as he did with many others). There
appears to be no correspondence between them.

Here are some sources:

Shlomo Avineri, "From Hoax to Dogma: A Footnote on Marx and Darwin,"
Encounter, 1967.

Terence Ball, "Marx and Darwin: A Reconsideration," Political Theory,
1979.

Valentina Gerrantana, "Marx and Darwin," New Left Review 82, 1973.
