Johns Hopkins University. The Program in Comparative and American
Cultures and the Department of Sociology seek a visiting assistant or
associate professor for a one-year full time position for the academic
year 1999-2000. The successful candidate must be capable of teaching
Introduction to Asian Diaspora Studies and two additional courses
focusing on the Asian diaspora and/or the East Asian region. S/he also
will participate in advising and other program activities. Qualified
candidates should send a letter of application, vitae, abstracts of
potential course offerings, and three letters of reference to: Asian
Diaspora Search Committee, c/o Angie Decker, Owen House, The Johns
Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD 21218.
