The opening item in the new issue of the Fernand Braudel Center
Newsletter is the table of contents of the Calouste Gulbenkian
Foundation report of the Commission on the Restructuring of the
Social Sciences, entitled *Open the Social Sciences*. The report is
being translated into a number of languages. Does anyone know if
there will be an on-line version somewhere? The report seems well
worth the attention of WSN members, especially part III, "What Kind
of Social Science Shall We Now Build?" Does anyone know more about
the distribution of the report beyond the limited information in the
Newsletter?
