I have been asked to organize a session for the annual
meetings of the Pacific Sociological Association on the
topic, "Theorizing the State in the World System." The
meetings will be held March 21-24, 1996, in Seattle,
Washington. If you wish to submit a paper for this
session, please let me know immediately; send me a title
and abstract. October 15 is the official deadline for
submission of proposed papers for the session, although
there is some flexibility. (December 1 is the final date
for decisions.)
