The magazine Adbusters IS advocating a boycott of the US (see below). There
are also reports that European tourism to the US is way down, and that
McDonalds is subject to a great deal of harassment worldwide. Iraqis have
crossed over from Jordan back to Iraq to fight the Anglo-Americans (sorry, 'the
coalition'). And protests have been fairly intense, especially in Spain and
Australia. I would expect all this sort of activity to intensify.

--- Begin Message --- Dear Brand America Boycotter,

Thank you for taking the plunge! It started with frustration and soon grew into rage. Finally something snapped: “I will not be a bystander in this war!” That was the moment that Boycott Brand America was born.

But, it’s more than a worldwide epiphany, this boycott has become a growing movement. The proof is in – according to Leo Burnett, 21 percent of Asians and Europeans are avoiding American brands.

From Seattle to Sao Paulo, people worldwide are shopping for a new world order. Help us grow the list of pledges into a force to be reckoned with. Spread the word: email the pledge, or better yet, put it on your website. You’ll find everything you need at: http://www.adbusters.org
