frustrated (traffic!)

- main slogan: for a different globalization!

- rally at Altmarkt square (in bourgeois old town, a ctr of Rhein capitalism)

- speaker: a German leader of the new and successful service workers' union

- good beer served, $1.25 for a .3 liter glass, plus $.40 deposit (!) on the
glass

- on a book stall: Trotsky and Soros (in German) next to each other, happily
sharing space with Lukacs in Turkish

- crowd: cca 80% foreigner; 2/3 Kurdish

- music: 1 German labor movement song followed by a full program by a Kurdish
band and singer
