Socialism and Democracy is looking for publishable essays that
analyze the present crisis from an historical and global perspective.
articles might deal with the roots of the present crisis in the cold war as
this was fought out in Afghanistan. they might also focus on the larger
context of U. S. economic and military policies in the "Middle East."
