Re: More X-Raying of our list

Would it help the list, if wsn had a formal statement of purpose? [to be posted periodically as a reminder]

 

For example, the following three purposes:

(1) to inform about professional matters of interest to PEWS members

(2) to engage in scholarly communications of interest to progressive sociologists, historians, economists [included?], and political scientists [included?] who are interested in (the) world(-)system(s)

(3) to critically examine current events, in the sense of a LGO (left globalization observer) [acronym modeled after Henwood's LBO, Left Business Observer]
