Dear Paul,

        Those are your conclusions, not some hypothetical arbiter's
conclusions.

        Our assumptions, including our understandings of the dynamics of
capitalism and the existence or non-existence of governmental actors in
the world-system able to lead us to a global New Deal, are so different
that I see no point in continuing to debate praxis with you.  Let's hope
you're right, let's hope I'm wrong, and let it go at that.
