Dear Marguerite,

Having studied continuum as opposed to quantum mechanics, I read your post 
with interest. It contained new information that I was not aware of.

I am from Turkiye and my country has very serious practical difficulties:

1) We are going through a serious IMF induced financial crisis that may 
spread to the rest of the so-called "emerging-markets"  and, when combined 
with the financial/economic difficulties in Argentina, South Korea, 
Indonesia, Taiwan and the like, may push the entire global economy into a 
deep recession (of course, unless the US tumbles first).

2) The minimum wage was announced recently and, after tax, it amounts to 
102,000,000 TL per month which is approximatly $130 to $140 in US dollars. 
Still better than the $1 per day or less in poorer countries but the cost of 
living in Istanbul, for example, is at such a level that unless these people 
work a few jobs or become thieves and steal whatever they can steal, they 
have no hope to survive on such an income.

3) On the other hand, the unemployment is very high, public hospitals and 
schools are in miserable condition whereas ability to go to private hospitals 
and shools (at all levels from kindergarten to university) would require way 
into six figure US salaries (per year), and for the condition of the rest of 
public services a little use of imagination should give you enough idea. By 
the way, last week the daughter of a hotel chain owner got married to the son 
of a private parking garage chain owner and they had their wedding ceremony 
in a restaurant in Paris. The father of the groom said that he prefered Paris 
because it was cheaper there and he only paid about $100, 000. The guests 
went to Paris in a private plane but I couldn't catch whose plane it was. 
  
4) We recently had in six cities riot police uprisings, after an armed attack 
by some provocateurs on a police vehicle that killed two and injured twelve 
police officers. Most of the members of the police force happen to have been 
recruited from the extreme-right (fascist nationalists and islamic 
fundamentalists, and I wonder why?) and they are cooperating with the 
right-wing militia to attack on the human rights activists, labor unionists, 
university students, intellectuals and the like (again, I wonder why?). As 
recently as yesterday, they arrested the president of the Human Rights 
Society together with a few other members and other sixty some demonstrators 
againts cell-type prisons and these lovely police force members are known to 
have chanted the slogan "To Hell with Human Rights!" in the past.

5) To the already existing three Messiahs we have, this week we added a new 
prophet and the number of Messiahs and prophets per squaremeter in Turkiye is 
growing by the day. As you know: Jesus Saves You!

I could contuinue with more items but from the ones I listed in the above you 
probably have gathered already that my country is not doing well and my 
personal sanity is at serious risk. At the risk of ruining my nonexisting 
reputation, may I ask you how I may make use of this Holodynamics to maintain 
my sanity?
