P.S.

Sorry for the P.S., but I very much disagree with the statement that:
"The Bell Curve caused a minor fuss in the national consciousness, but
had no real effect."
I teach at a large, working class commuter campus. Education teachers,
among others, who were not even trained in psychology or even
rudimentary methodological analysis, were presenting Bell Curve to
future teachers as fact in some cases and in other cases as "one of
several legitimate theories." Then those teachers are sent out to teach
children in inner city schools with many problems. Do you think that has
"no effect?" I think it helps destroy hundreds, thousands of lives.
