I really doubt that. The violence was pretty minimal - some smashed 
store windows and eight cop cars given flats. I think the authorities 
were surpised by the size & intensity of the protests, and it might 
not have even occurred to them to hire provocateurs. If this 
continues, no doubt they will, but not yet. Besides, this gang of 
anarchists from Eugene, Oregon, that's being blamed for the damage is 
pretty well known.
