i agree richard. unfortunately, core "liberal" intellectuals, who claim to
be lefties, determine what is politically right or wrong for the
countries in the periphery. isn't it so amazing that they speak in the
name of "us"?. they discuss the "basic principles of WP" without taking
any significant feedback from the intellectuals of periphery. they want to
use peaceful means (WP) to bring about change, and they present this as if
it is a consensual decision in the list. i can not consider such views
marxist bacause they do not aim at replacing capitalism. they are
reformist. the ongoing discussion on whether or not "seizure of state
power" is part of revolution, based on dictionary definitions, in a highly
academic list like this, is a deliberate attempt at deception about
reality, history and human civilization. I really like to hear
perspectives from the periphery HERE, not a moral agitation against a
violent revolution, fear of "socialism in one country" or cold war
slogans. i want to see here more objectivity, appreciation and scientific
analysis. are there any people from former communist states here? where
are the intellectuals, workers, students of those countries?
