Liberal WP

Dear WSN people: I have been lurking for some time now, following with 
interest
the proposal for a world party. I would like to see a real cosmopolitanism, 
and
I see room for such thinking within a world in which there is an 
increasingly
global economy. I know most of you seem opposed to co-existence with global
capitalism (which is not a monolithic body), and I am not particularly 
enamored
with some facets of the phenomena, but I don't think anyone is going to get 
rid
of it. Indeed, I say develop a set of programs that "rides the wave" of the
phenomena. Human rights, environmentalism, democracy and some creative 
thinking
to undermine the corrupting influence of big money would seem an appealing 
core
set of ideas. I would rather not see a last gasp of Marxism in the face of
