Teddy

"(Mis)judging" Teddy (or any other "leader") is not only a matter of
temporocentrism but also ethnocentrism. If some of his subjects consider
Teddy as the embodiment of legal virtue (or Reagan as "Great Communicator),
outside the US many saw these guys in a much different light... as arrogant,
self-serving, jingoistic meddlers... Great Prevaricators. As a Chinese
writer once said, "lies written in ink can never disguise facts written in
blood."
