the fact that you don't get it, doesn't mean something doesn't exist. please
remember that throughout a scientific career.
anyway: any country that is oriented towards capital accumulation, is a
capitalist country. of cause, sweden has some re-distributive elements, and
is thus sometimes labeled as 'socialist'or at least social-democrat.
yes, in a way, the communist period was an essential feature on the path
towards capital accumulation that russia went through. in this sense stalin
is the counterpart of pinochet: both structured their country towards
production, and away from any other rationale that might be worth living
for.
