WSNers--the debate on euro-exceptionalism seems to be dying down. Let me
add one more thing. For those who will be attending the ASA meetings this
coming August I have organized a sepecial session on just this topic.
Gunder, Janet Abu-Lughod, Randy Collins and myself will consider the
thesis that Marx Weber got it all wrong as to the rise of the West.
I encourage everyone who can to attend and voice their opinion.
