PEWS Book Award, 1996.
Nominations are called for the 1996 Political Economy of the World Sy=
stem
Section Book Award for distinguished scholarship. The criteria are as
follows: Any work of comparative or international sociology concerned=
with
the relationship between domestic and global social, economic and pol=
itical
processes. It must be in English or made available to the nominating
committee in an authorized English translation. Any work may be nomin=
ated
by anyone, regardless of the disciplinary, section, or ASA affiliatio=
n of
either the author or nominator. Self nominations are welcome. Letters
should include complete publication information. Eligible for the 199=

award are books published in the three calendar years 1993, 1994, 199=
