This is to announce the birth of LADARK, the Latin
American Development Electronic Archive at Johns Hopkins
University.

LADARK contains data sets and other information
useful to scholars who are doing research on Latin
American development. These materials may be freely
copied for scholarly research and educational purposes.

LADARK is a project of the Program In Comparative
International Development (PCID) in the Department of
Sociology at Johns Hopkins. PCID has a collaborative
arrangement with the Facultad Latinoamericana de Ciencias
Sociales (FLACSO) in Quito, Ecuador.
