There is no pure capitalism anywhere in the world today; and, extra-economic coercion continue to be the norm in interstate economic relations between dominant states and dependent nations.  What comes to mind is the manner in which a corporation such as ENRON began to operate in a country like Mozambique under the aegis of Bill Clinton's  "African Initiative".
