1. It's worth mentioning that many radical Islamists want to bring
about a form of democracy in Arabia and the Middle East. Remember Algeria in 1992. 2. Osama bin Laden (or
his ideology) would be likely to greatly benefit from democracy in these
countries, leading eventually to the re-establishment of the Khalifa (i.e. the
globally extended rule of Islamic thought). 3. Good luck to
them. Democracy is different from
political freedom, as is testified to in USA. |
