Call for articles on globalization

Dear Colleagues - 

I would like to invite you to submit an article on globalization to a special 
2003 edition of Society in Transition, the peer-reviewed journal of the South 
African Sociological Association.

We encourage scholars to incorporate into their submissions some focus on South 
Africa, Southern Africa, Africa, or other units of the semiperiphery and 
periphery of the world system. 

Any theoretical or substantive contributions that address some aspect of 
globalization are welcome.  

The deadline for submissions is May 5, 2003, in order to bring out the edition 
by August 2003.
