However we would very much like to receive additional syllabi in certain areas. These are the following (we also will still welcome syllabi on other topics). 1. Terrorism. 2. Particular regions, especially Iraq and the Persian Gulf region; Central Asia; and China and East Asia. 3. Structural analyses of wars/violence and public policies related to war/violence, e.g. of the military-industrial complex. 4. Social inequality (based on social class, race/ethnicity, gender etc.) and its connections to war/violence/conflict resolution. 5. Environmental degradation and its connections to war/violence/conflict. ***DEADLINE FOR ADDITIONAL SYLLABI: 2/15/03*** PLEASE ACCOMPANY EACH SYLLABUS WITH A BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE CONTEXT OF THE COURSE, E.G. TYPE AND SIZE OF SCHOOL, SIZE OF THE CLASS, AND LEVEL OF THE COURSE (FRESHMAN, SENIOR ETC.)
