Dear Colleagues - I have to submit the names of a general introductory sociology text within the next two days. Obviously I would like to recommend one that would enable me to provide a good global systemic perspective (ideally using WST and globalization theories) to cover the usual topics that one would expect in an introduction. Any suggestions? The only related textbook that I could think of was Robin Cohen published a general text which used globalization as point of departure. I know there was a recent, related discussion on a world-systems theory text (which I seem unable to find in the WSN archives), but this is more limited in the sense that it should cover .
