From Outside Away magazine:

The Last Days of the Mountain Kingdom
Dateline: Nepal, 2001. The royal family has been murdered. Maoist
guerrillas prowl the countryside, fomenting agrarian revolution.
Kathmandu has succumbed to general strikes and indiscriminate bombings.
And everybody's got his own pet conspiracy theory. Is this in the
Himalayas, or the next Asian apocalypse in the making?

Thought some of you might find this interesting. It's the first recorded
visit to the Maoist-controlled areas by a western journalist that I've
come across. And the article has some nice photographs. If anyone on the
list knows anything about the link between Christianity and Maoism in
Nepal it would be greatly appreciated.
