ASA ENV & TECh PREconf reg: update

Here is the latest info on pregistration for the preconference:

Dear PEWS:

Pre-registration is now available for the Mini-conference on "Globalization 
and the Environment: Prospects and Perils", which we are co-sponsoring with 
Env+Tech section, on August 17 (day before ASA starts) at the Hilton Anaheim. 
Just follow the link on the conference website:

The prices are very reasonable, due to the generous support of both sections.
Until July 31, registration is $10 if you're employed and FREE* for students & 
unemployed.
After July 31 (at door), registration is $20 if you're employed and FREE for 
students & unemployed.

*Even if you don't need to pay, please let us know if you are going to attend 
by sending email to me (Paul) at pkg1@cornell.edu
