Addendum to DU in the Media

with apologies for yet another but tardy posting on DU

The Spanish newspaper EL DIA has been carrying SEVERAL reports
and stories EVERY DAY on the DU situation.
A number of reports have it that the Pentagon
- had research reports on the dangers of DU years ago  
- accidentally exploded two whole supply collections of DU
and  knew what the consequences were
- made a video of DU contamination and effects, which it then suppressed
- charged an American to direct and make a study of DU in Iraq, who
himself became so sick from handling the stuff there, that he has since
become the most active whistle blower about DU and the Pentagon's coverup
- knowingly put its own soldiers at risk in Iraq and Kosovo
- for years steadfastly remained silent on or if necessary denied any
connection between DU and the Gulf War Syndrome and now the Balkan
Syndrome 

NATO  long refrained from disclosing where in Kosovo and elsewhere
in Yugoslavia it used DU, until the UN Secrtary General forced NATO
to make disclosures to the UN for its own investigations  and only
yesterday publicly admitted that it had thus delayed - and if
possible would have continued to prevent-  any investigations.
