reform of institutions

Paul makes a good point about the reform of the international institutions.
their reform (like "the reform of apartheid") any likely changes remain
tinkering within the superstructure and prevailing cultural and ideological
hegemony. Apartheid had to be abolished and its effects rolled back, the latter
being virually impossible over the medium term. So, too, the IFIs... for as long
as we live in the present epoch, the will continue to serve capitalism, in
general and the economically dominant (specifically).
