Scholarships available ISA UNESCO Scholarship to attend ISA International Laboratory for Ph.D. Students in Sociology Theme: Methodology of Research Projects September 5-11, 2000 Onati, Spain International Sociological Association welcomes applications from Ph.D. students in sociology or interdisciplinary programs to attend ISA International Laboratory in Sociology to be held at the International Institute for Sociology of Law in Onati, Spain, on September 5-11, 2000. The workshop will focus on research projects being developed by the participants, particularly improving the methodology of these projects. The working language of the workshop will be English. Interested candidates are requested to submit the following documentation: 1. A letter of application specifying the topic of the research. 2. A two-page abstract of the research project. 3. A two-page curriculum vitae. 4. Two letters of recommendation one of which comments on the research project, particularly the stage of research and anticipated accomplishment, the other on academic merits in comparison with other students on the same programme and on candidate's potential leadership in social sciences.
