Re: The Economics Of Starvation

Alexy:
What do you want from me? I've condemned the Ethiopian government at least
as intensely as you did! Do I have to pledge allegiance to the Eritrean
flag to satisfy you? Do you deny the political prisoners in Eritrea? I know
of Ethiopians who have been terrorized by the current government of
Ethiopia. I also know of Eritreans who struggled for independence and today
have contempt for their current government. This is only "anecdotal" of
course, but there is plenty of other evidence of political repression in
Eritrea. That's the only point I was making....don't try to "race bait"
me....you don't know anything about me.
Alan Spector
P.S. -- apologies to the WSN list for carrying on this dialogue in public.
I've made myself as clear as possible on this point and won't respond again
unless something truly outrageous necessitates it.
