Farshad Araghi

Florida Atlantic University seeks a tenure-track Assistant Professor of
Communication, specializing in media studies, commencing August 2000.  The
candidate should hold a doctorate at the time of the appointment and have an
interdisciplinary and multicultural approach with further specializations in
two or more of the following areas cultural studies, the political economy 
of
mass media, television history / theory, film history / theory, video
production, new media technologies, and Third World media studies. Located
near
the scenic Fort Lauderdale area north of Miami, our campus is part of the
fastest-growing university system in the US.  We offer a competitive salary
