(1) After the paper [sc. Kohler on unequal exchange] was published, have
there been any attempts at refutation, and if yes, along which lines?
ANSWER:
I have not seen anything yet; no private communications of a refutational
nature either.

QUESTION:
(2) Is there a linkage between this unequal exchange and the trend in
commodity prices?
ANSWER:
Could well be (on theoretical grounds), but has not been tested empirically.
