Anyone with thoughts on WGI?

A colleague passed this URL along to me:  http://www.worldgame.org/

World Game Institute is 27 yrs old, has lots of world data, etc.

It's roots seem to be Bucky Fuller.

Questions:
Has any one been to their workshops or used their stuff in class?
How accurate are their world meters?
Are they a useful TEACHING resource?

A quick look at the web site  suggests it is the sort of thing that could
be used in courses many WSNers teach.  No doubt many of us would put our
own "spin" on the data.

So comments, criticisms, accolades?
