The World-Systems Archive is located at the Institute for Research on World-Systems (IROWS) at the University of California, Riverside. The archive is maintained in association with the World-Systems electronic conferencing network (WSN), also running at the University of California, Riverside

The purpose of this electronic archive is to promote the free exchange of information relevant to the study and understanding of the modern world-system and earlier intersocietal networks. The archive contains documents, books, data, biographical information, bibliographies, newsletters, and the archives of some of the conversations that took place on WSN, an early listserv devoted to world-systems topics.

The Fernand Braudel Center at Binghamton University, The Institute for Research on World-Systems (IROWS) at University of California, Riverside, and the Political Economy of the World -Systems (PEWS) section of the American Sociological Association have related websites. There is a related research project at Princeton called "Mapping the Global Web"

Scholars, researchers and world systems are encouraged to contribute information to the World-Systems Electronic Archive.
