the battle in seattle

Those watching CNN are probably having more fun than me, but for breaking
news on the web that the mainstream outlets might not cover, you should
monitor:

both of which are posting plenty of news of the major protests against the
WTO in Seattle as they occur.  

The typical tactical disputes over property damage have emerged, with
anarchist militants smashing McDonalds storefronts and others trying to
restrain them.  

The AFL-CIO and the Sierra Club have indeed taken to the streets, which is
significant, and indicates the potential for a broad coalition to come
together.
