Dear Pablo Picasso,

the dependencia paradigm (and world-system paradigm) is as powerful as
Picasso's blue and cubist periods together. Realism (like in Morgenthau's
Politics Among Nations) is for governments and not for people. The
dependencia/world-system paradigm explains why people don't get jobs or are
pennyless. If you want to see the dependency/world system paradigm in art
form, on a wall, see the murals in Mexico City by famous artist .... (I
forget, I gave my Mexican murals book to someone). They are dynamite -- you
can see pale-faced bankers in pin-striped suits literally walking on the
heads of the common folks who look like Mayans or Aztecs. Dependencia theory
also explains slave trade. -- Pluralism? What do you mean? One newspaper
article I saw described the strategy of the Zapatistas as "revolutionary
pluralism". Now I have given you a few more keywords for your search
engine. If you get an A, let me know.

Gert
