I have two video tapes that might be of
interests for social science classroom instructors:
Green Horizons- A 1990 video documentary (40
mins) which details the emergence of the U.S. Greens and their relation to the
global green movement.
World Village- A 1993 video documentary (30
mins) about a graduate housing facility operated by U.C. Berkeley. The
main topic is how families from 45 different countries can live peacefully and
grow together.
Both videos have a good balance of live action
woven with interviewer-less respondents and a clear academic framework.
Classroom instructors will find several points of departure for discussion and
curricula tie-ins. Each program also has documented segment times and
titles that would facilitate stop/start discussion periods and split viewing
sessions.
Very reasonable pricing for unlimited
use.
Please email me if interested.
