Your question was: "What is a left-Keynesian?"

[answer]

someone who thinks that original Keynes had some useful ideas, but extracts
the leftist potential out of them -- sort of like once upon a time there
were Hegelians, and then there were left-Hegelians. Keynes had some leftist
colleagues, like Kalecki and Robinson. Some present-day left-Keynesians call
themselves post(-)Keynesians, but I don't think you could call all
post(-)Keynesians also left-Keynesians, either because they are missing the
"left" or because they are missing the "Keynesian".
