FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY, College of Liberal Arts invites applications
for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Sociology in the field of global
social movements.  As defined, the field will encompass emerging movements
(e.g., class, "race"/ethnicity, gender/sexuality, environment) in the
context of the changing world economy.  Scholarly productivity and
publications expected and encouraged.  Ph.D. required upon appointment, and
active publishing record and teaching experience preferred.  This is a
nine-month appointment with summer teaching available; salary negotiable
depending upon credentials.  Applications must be postmarked by March 22,
