it is surprising how little known in the social scientific community the
excellent UNCTAD document World Investment Report really is. It is an ideal
instrument to calculate such things (you can rank countries and MNC's by
"sort"); it also contains MNC penetration scores for around 180 countries.
Have a try. Also look at Le Monde (1998) "Le Bilan de Monde".
