Quick ?....how is this any different than what O'Connor called the
"second contradiction" of Capitalism(the contradiction between capital
and the environment)? Albeit he doesn't make the kind of "wild claims"*
that you do in your peice...which I saw you present at PEWS.

*not that I necessarily disagree with any of your "wild claims", your
position appearred to me that it would benefit from a closer read of the
"Social Ecology" literature; which points to some of the other
ecological implications of the second contradiction.
