3rd EUROPEAN CONFERENCE

20th CENTURY EUROPE: Inclusions/Exclusions

CALL FOR PAPERS


The European Sociological Association hosts its Third European
Conference on August 27-30 1997 at the University of Essex in
Colchester, north of London. The conference theme is:
"20th Century Europe: Inclusions/Exclusions".

The theme will be explored focusing
particularly on the issues of gender, ethnicity, class and age in the
restructuring of European societies throughout this century and the
role of European sociological insights in the understanding of
inclusionary and exclusionary changes. Sessions will be organized
around the following themes:
