Sri Trichur Ganesh,pl.also elaborate on regarding 'the
paradoxes of the modernity and the dilemmas of the
self in an existential sense'[for Giddens]particularly
in the aftermath of 9/11 and fallout of Iraq in the
western part of the world.i am  getting interested in
Seyed Javad's query. politico-sociolly, drawing on
St.-Simon, the 'third wave' philosophy should be
tested as also about the limits to choices of the self
in the face of uncertainity and overpowering of this
uncertainity through violence whither at a
personal/local level or mass/global level. manjeet
