Hi all:

Harper's Magazine, October 2002 issue, includes a good article/review
by David Armstrong, an investigative reporter for the National
Security News Service. It is titled "Dick Cheney's Song of America,"
in which he talks about Defense Planning Guidances from 1994 to 2009.
The essay highlights a tremendous continuity in the series of drafts
and revised drafts by the office of the secretary of defense. It is
within this frame that the latest National Security Plan by the Bush
administration is to inserted.

Now, I just wanted to pass this to whoever out there might be
interested in this kind of information. I was also wondering if
anyone could tell me how one could have access to these documents put
out by the Secretary of Defense. I do not if these documents are open
and available to the public.
I do not know if it is possible for the American public to go to the
bookstore of the Secretary of Defense, virtually and otherwise, and
purchase some of these document from previous and current
administrations.

Many thanks, Fernando Gomez.
