gunder frank's imperial 2 cents worth

The discussioin moves me to post 2 [ir?]relevant cents of mine - for
technical reasons in two separate additional posts,
1. belatedly unless with apologies i already did when it was written and
dont remember - its on my web page
2. prematurely, since its for my web-page, but my web-master hasnt
managed to to put it there yet

I would appreciate and be interested in comment of course - particularly
in re the ongoing imperial discussiion, but I should notify that from
April 12 on i will be personally out of comission for a while a d hence
unable to respond myself. i appoint [without prior consultation ] Al
Bergesen,  Giovanni Arrighi and [not on this list Jefrey Sommers] as my
alter egos
