Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan

This week I went to hear Tahmeena Faryal (an assumed name) a representative 
of the Revolutionary Association of the Women of Afghanistan.  She is 
currently on a speaking tour of the U.S. (planned long before September 11) 
and her presentation is well worth attending, if she happens to be in your 
area.  This organization has been around since 1977 (I wonder if the date is 
significant, see discussions above) and if you are interested to know more,
