wisdom, crack, and the mouse

To those who read recently Louis' recent - I lament insulting comments - on
my friend and co-editor Emilio Chaves I recommend to read

Scholary arguments are one thing, insults another. Louis would be invited to
write a rejoinder on his 'flawed data', or a rejoinder on other papers in
the Colorado series, or something else for that series or another publisher,
but before clicking the 'send' command on his mail programme, I think he
should pause for a moment, thinking on decent academic behaviour.

His very idea to exclude someone from the list altogether for the
'arguments' proposed is totalitarian and racist. Sorry.

Kindest, maybe old-fashioned and perhaps a bit British regards.
