FLORIDA ATLANTIC UNIVERSITY, College of Liberal Arts invites applications
for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position to start in Fall 2001. We
seek a sociologist with interests in global restructuring and world
historical social change, broadly defined, with possible expertise in
areas such as urbanization, global conflict, social movements, Third World
and state transformation, agro-food systems and the environment. Scholarly
productivity and publications expected and encouraged. Ph.D. required upon
appointment, and active publishing record and teaching experience
preferred. This is a nine-month (tenure-track) appointment; salary is
